Keys for the Fresno State Bulldogs:

  • The Bull Dogs lost their star QB Derek Carr that everybody saw coming. Brian Burnell or transfer Brandon Connette will be starting under center for Fresno State. Both will have to pick out mostly new receivers to throw to.
  • One of the returning receivers, Josh Harper, did have 1011 yards and 13 touchdowns, so he will be the receiver to watch this year.

Keys for the USC Trojan’s

  • Last season WR Nelson Agholor had 94 yards and two scores, so the Bulldogs will surely have their eyes on him. If Agholor gets open we might see him put up big numbers again.
  • Sophomore RB Justin Davis impressed all the way until midseason last year when he was injured. This season he will start and try to remain healthy for his Trojan teammates.

Injuries
